Dear Dawn's family, my heart is breaking as I just heard about Dawn's passing. I was a co-worker of Dawn's when she first started at AT&T. We had so many good times together. After our office in Itasca closed, we lost touch. How happy I was when we met up again in Lisle. She was so happy. Positively beaming. I knew that she had met the love of her life. I will miss her beautiful smile and her hilarious laugh! She was a very kind and fun soul. Sending prayers and thoughts during this extremely difficult time. Until we meet again Dawnie!!

My heart is broken for the loss of such a good person. Dawn and I go back 35 years and she has always been such a wonderful human being. I will always remember the good times she, Sally and I had. She was a wonderful mother to Lonnie and raised him to be a good man. I always admired her for that. She deserved to be happy and when she met John her dreams came true. I will forever miss her.

Lee ann, mom (Mary Lou), Lonnie and rest of the family, my heart is aching for all of you. I can’t help but have a smile on my face when I think of Dawn. I was a little wild when I met her but yet she still loved me. I have great memories handing out with you girls at your dads getting silly. Thank for sharing her with me! May God continue giving you all the strength you need. Love to all of you

“Auntie Dawn” where do I even begin. You have been such an instrumental part of my life since I was born. Your kind heart always knew exactly what to say and how to encourage me. Your smile and laugh could light up a room and your compassion for others and animals showed what a special woman you were to all of those around you. Some of my fondest childhood memories include those times spent with you. Your friendship with my mother was not only a blessing to her, but a blessing to us. You were right there during all of the hills and valleys in my life and you became a part of my family. I love you so much and will forever miss you. Love Jenn
