Dawn C. Cernak (nee) Robinson

January 9, 1964 - February 6, 2018

Dawn C. Cernak (nee Robinson) passed away suddenly on February 6, 2018 at the age of 54.

Dawn was an avid animal lover, and was especially fond of sea turtles. She enjoyed making stained glass, and gave away many of her creations as gifts.

She is survived by her loving husband of 16 years John; mother Mary Lou Felker; son Lonnie (Rachel) Schmidt; sister Lee Ann Schmidt; mother in law Theresa Cernak; grandsons Riley & Jason Schmidt; nephews Andrew & Aaron Schmidt, as well as her fur babies “The Cernak Pack”. Dawn is preceded in death by her father Phillip Robinson (2008).

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from 12:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Gerardi Funeral Home, 9501 West Lincoln Hwy (1 block east of LaGrange Rd. on Rt. 30) Frankfort, IL. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Fox Valley Wildlife Center.
