Ronald H Novota

July 18, 1941 - September 4, 2015

 

Novota, Ronald H. formally of Frankfort, IL, passed away on September 4, 2015 at Lebannon VA Medical Center in Pennsylvania. Ronald was the loving father of 2 sons; Bill & Tim, and daughter Susan (Roy) Miller, 3 grandchildren and his sister Lois Brown. He is proceeded in death by his wife Sondra (nee) Dorsch. He was retired from Applied Systems, an avid fisherman & wonderful friend. Ronald will be greatly missed.

 

Visitation will be held at Gerardi Funeral Home, 9501 W. Lincoln Hwy, Frankfort, IL on Friday, September 11, 2015 from 4-8pm.  Please meet for funeral services at 10:00 am on Saturday September 12 at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Frankfort, IL.   In lieu of flowers, family requests donations to Wounded Warrior Project.

A Fisherman’s Prayer

God grant that I may fish

Until my dying day

And when it comes to

My last cast

I then most humbly pray,

When in the Lord’s

Soft landing net

I’m peacefully asleep,

That in His mercy I be judged

As good enough to keep.
