Robert D. Watson, 74, of Frankfort, IL. went to his heavenly home on October 7, 2015. Beloved husband of Carol for 38 years. Born on October 20, 1940 in Detroit, Michigan, to the late Helen and Dentzell Watson. Moved to Chicago, Beverly, Bob graduated from St. Ignatius High School and Xavier and Loyola University. Began his insurance career in Chicago and was co-founder of Aviation Markets. He became president Aviation Markets in 2013. Bob was a long time member of the “AFA” attend their meetings around the US. Bob also was “Chef Róbert” helping at “C.C.’s” as needed.  Dearest brother of the late Donald (Mary Stutzman) and John (and the late Yong) Watson. Fond uncle of Christy (Art) Iwasa. Fond uncle of Bob (Celia) and Brian Watson. Fond brother-in-law to Ruth and Rob Bill, and nephews Christoper and Michael Bill. Fond brother-in-law to John (Kristine) Kocanda and family. Visitation will be held at Gerardi Funeral Home, 9501 W. Lincoln Hwy, Frankfort, IL on Tuesday October 13  from 3-9pm and Wednesday October 14 from 9:00 am until the time of prayers at 10:30 am.  Mass of Christian Burial immediately following at 11:00 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Frankfort, IL.   Interment following the service at  Saint Mary Cemetery, Mokena, IL. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorials to The Franciscan Sisters of The Sacred Heart, Frankfort, IL; The Holy Spirit Prayer Group, St. Anthony Church, Frankfort,IL, or  Adrian Dominican Sisters, Adrian, Michigan.
