Rita E. Metzger (nee Rudofski)

January 16, 1925 - November 14, 2022

Rita E. Metzger (nee Rudofski) age 97, late of Calumet Park, IL formerly of Matteson, IL passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on November, 14 2022.

Rita was a housewife who loved baking.

She was preceded in death by her husband Joseph, sister Celine Sosnowski and brother Bud Rudofski. Rita is survived by daughters Rita Nelson and Patricia (William) Popescue, son Richard (Sandra) Metzger, brother Dennis Rudofski, grandchildren Daniel, Thomas, Laura, Sara, Elizabeth and Christopher, great-grandchildren Ace, Lucy and Dash, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 18, 2022 from 10:00 am until the time of Mass of the Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St Anthony Catholic Church, 7659 West Sauk Trail, Frankfort, IL. Interment immediately following at Saints Cyril and Methodius Catholic Cemetery, 608 Sobieski Street, Lemont, IL.
