John Joseph Diaz

June 30, 1965 - September 21, 2015

John Diaz of New Lenox, age 50, passed away suddenly on Monday, September 21, 2015 from a heart attack peacefully in his sleep. Born in Chicago’s Evergreen Park, and raised in Frankfort. John graduated from Lincoln-Way High School and pursued his love for boating by becoming  a devoted, hard working service manager at his family’s business in Frankfort, South End Boat Shop.

John is survived by his loving wife, Mary, of over 25 years. He is also survived by his daughters, Jessica and Jodi; parents, Stephen and Pamela; brother, Michael; sisters, Linda (Rick) Perkins and Susan (Keith) Regnier; and his caring nieces, nephew, and many friends.

Visitation will be held on September 25 from 3-8 p.m. and September 26 from 8:30 am until the time we leave for church at 9:30 am. at Gerardi Funeral Home, 9501 West Lincoln Highway, Frankfort, IL. We will then proceed to St. Jude Catholic Church, 241 W. 2nd Ave, New Lenox, IL for the funeral mass at 10:00 am.  Interment immediately following mass at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Frankfort, IL. Please sign our guestbook at gerardifuneralhomeonline.com
