James Edward Klaisner

James Edward Klaisner, age 76, a longtime resident of Frankfort, IL passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his loving family on September 11, 2017.
James was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War, 174th AHC and a member of the American Legion Post 474. He was a lifetime classic car enthusiast and an amazing bowler. He enjoyed frequent road trips, took delight in telling stories everywhere he went, and fueled his being on-the-go daily with Starbucks.
James is survived by his wife Janice (nee Stoeven), daughter Jessica (Neko) Zairis; grandchildren Leah, Leo and Lexi Zairis, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Virginia Parkes and brother Mel Klaisner.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 14, 2017 from 11:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, 10731 W La Porte Rd, Mokena, IL. Interment immediately following at Skyline Memorial Park, Monee, IL.
