Jacob Lanenga

November 21, 1928 - December 28, 2022

Jacob Lanenga, age 94 late of Frankfort, IL and formerly of Tinley Park, IL, passed away peacefully in his home on December 28, 2022.

Jacob was a sergeant in the U.S. Army and a retired electrical engineer. He enjoyed woodworking, traveling and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his parents Clara & Jacob, son Andrew, brother Larry and former wife Marga.
Survived by his wife Marie; daughters Laura Banjeglav and her husband Bruce, Linda Maracic and her husband John, son Matthew Lanenga and his wife Marianne, brother Robert Lanenga; grandchildren Jacob, & Joshua, Zachary, Amy and her husband Chris and great grandson Caleb.

Interment will be private, and Jacob’s final resting place will on January 6 th at Skyline Memorial Park in Monee, IL.
