Dominic Rotondo Jr.

January 18, 1935 - April 16, 2018

Dominic Rotondo Jr. of Frankfort, IL, previously of Park Ridge, IL, a loving husband, dad and papa, passed away suddenly on April 16, 2018 in his home.

Dominic graduated from Steinmetz High School in Chicago. He served in the U.S. Army, was a retired banker V.P. at First Chicago, Chase Chicago; professional musician and avid landscape photographer. He was a member of St. Anthony Church in Frankfort, and St. Paul of the Cross in Park Ridge.

A well known keyboard and piano player in the area, Dominic was a member of Chicagoland Accordian and Music Club; International Photographic Hall of Fame and Frankfort Chamber of Commerce, as well as the 2017 Co-Grand Marshall of Frankfort Fall Festival Parade.

Dominic was preceded in death by his parents Dominic Rotondo Sr. and Felicia (D’Agostino), and survived by his wife Connie Behnke-Rotondo (Conforti); daughter Karla (Tom) Simmons, Denise (Kevin) Bradley, Bonnie (Bob) Melcher; sons Dominic (Patricia) Rotondo, Scott (Morgan) Behnke, Bert (Cindy) Behnke; brother Emil (Joanne) Rotondo; grandchildren Lucas, Joey, Lola, Al, Morgan, Melissa, Jackie, Breanne, Lauren, Emily, Hailey, Madilynn and Brian, 3 great grandchildren and many loved nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 22, 2018 from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and Monday April 23 from 10:00 am until the time of prayers at 10:30 am at Gerardi Funeral Home, 9501 West Lincoln Hwy (1 block east of LaGrange Rd. on Rt. 30) Frankfort, IL. Mass following prayers, 11:00 am at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Frankfort, IL. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
