My deepest sympathy goes out to Jay, Deanna, Suzi and all of Vicki's extended family. I know how much she will be missed. For a time, as young cousins, we lived on the same street in Chicago. But life takes us far beyond. I'm the cousin who lived in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands with husband, Don, and five children for 38 years, so that distance made staying in touch difficult. Vicki was a junior bridesmaid in both my wedding in '59 and my sister Joan's in '58. Like others have written, I'm proud and happy to say she was my cousin too. And Jay, thank you for the video. I smiled and cried all the way through it. I've watched it twice. I pray the Lord gives you the peace and the strength to carry you through this difficult time. He's always there to call upon.

Vicki was such a warm, genuine person. Her smile, laughter and sense of humor were contagious. She was always a joy and a bright light to those around her and was very committed to her family that she loved so much. Our deepest sympathy on the loss of a wonderful mom, sister, grandmother and friend.

Good Bye Dear Friend. We met in 1967,,oh seems like yesterday. Never would I think you would go before me. I am so sad and feeling the loose of such a good friend. You brought fun and joy to those who knew you. We won't have our July visit on Lake Michigan and our fun game of Hand and Foot. You will be missed. I feel like you have always been in my life. Love, Denese

My dear sweet cousin Vicki. My heart breaks for Jay, Deanna, Susie, and their families, and all of us who loved, and shared life with her. Always fun till we cried! My fondest memory was when Vicki and Aunt Hazel visited me and dining at a restaurant we picked random people, and sang Happy Birthday to them. What a hoot that was! Such wonderful memories! Grandma Hahn always quoted John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him shall not perish, but have Everlasting Life. You will be truly missed and I know we will see each other again. Love and prayers and Vicki always ended her letters with XOXO

Jay and Deanna I loved your Mom so much and have so many good memories of her. She had a laugh that could get a whole room going. I’m praying for you all during this hard time. Love Amy
