Serafino J Formentini, Jr.

Serafino J. Formentini Jr., age 88, late of Manteno, IL formerly of Frankfort & Chicago Heights, IL passed away on May 11, 2022.

He was the owner of Serf Associates, Inc., and a veteran of the US Army.

Serafino was preceded in death by his wife Carol (nee Mancini), son John (Patty), sister Joanne and brother Joseph.
He is survived by his daughter Mary, son Mark (Gail), sister Jean, and grandchildren Sarah & Katherine Formentini and Jordon Boese.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 18 from 3:00 pm-8:00 pm at Maher Funeral Home, Tinley Park, IL. Funeral will be held on Thursday, May 19 at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Frankfort, IL with visitation from 9:00 am until the time of mass at 10:00 am. Interment immediately following at Assumption Catholic Cemetery, Glenwood, IL.

All who knew Serafino saw his kind, generous heart and his ability to meet any challenge with ingenuity and enthusiasm.
