Sanford F. Shannon

July 20, 1950 - October 25, 2016

Sanford F. Shannon, a 38 year resident of Frankfort, IL, passed away suddenly on October 25, 2016. He was the owner of All-Print Promotions in Frankfort and a past member of the Frankfort Chamber of Commerce.

Sanford loved model trains, and was an avid sports fan. Some of his favorite teams include; Notre Dame, Green Bay Packers and St. Rita football, White Sox baseball and Blackhawks hockey.

Survived by his wife of 44 years Nancy Shannon (Donahue); daughters, Megan (Todd) Lisak, Natalie (Matt) Durbin; sons, Brian (Caryn) Shannon, Michael (Amanda) Shannon and Jeff Shannon; brother, George C. (Kathy) Shannon; grandchildren, Liam, Luke, Elle and Sarah Shannon.

Preceded in death by his parents James and Mary Louise Shannon.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 28 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Family Harvest Church, 18500 92nd Ave, Tinley Park, IL. Prayer service 8:00 pm Dr. Robb Thompson officiating.

Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations requested to the family for a charity of their choice.
