Lynn Luetgert Krug

March 19, 1946 - August 10, 2015

Lynn Luetgert (nee) Krug, age 69, beloved wife of Don, passed away August 10, 2015. Lynn was loved by many. An inspiration to many. She  enjoyed every day of her life, animals and anything that involved being with any of her 5 grandchildren; Kaitlyn (11), Kellen (9), Kinsley(4), Kalina (2), Kaia (5 months). She is survived by her husband Donald Luetgert (71); 2 children, Kyle (Amy) Luetgert (41) and Marleen (nee Luetgert) (Nate) Thom (35), but was a mother to many, many more. She was born in the Bronx, NY and moved to Chicagoland to finish her education at Concordia University in River Forest, IL. As an educator she spent her life working with people all over Chicagoland, first in the Chicago Public Schools, Oak Forest and then in various Lutheran Schools throughout Chicagoland. She ended her education career as an advisor to the Lutheran Schools to help with Special Education needs. Lynn was also very involved in her church over the years and enjoyed working with the youth. Lynn will be missed by many, but has left footprints with so many others that will last a lifetime.

Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2015 at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, Orland Park, IL from 9:00 am until the time of services at 10:30 am. Interment will be private.
