Louie Edward Kooiman

April 13, 1960 - April 12, 2018

Louie Edward Kooiman age 57, a life-long resident of Frankfort, IL, passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones on April 12, 2018.

Louie’s interests included flying RC airplanes and helicopters. He also enjoyed his toys, which included his Harley Davidson motorcycle, dirt bike, snowmobile and boat.

Louie is survived by his wife of 24 ½ years Noreen (nee Evancho); daughters Jessica Kooiman & Stephanie Jackson; sons Luke (Bobbie Jo), Josh, Louie Edward Jr. “Eddie” & Michael Kooiman; sister Judy Douma; grandson Kal Kooiman as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers James & Thomas.

Visitation will be held on Sunday April 15, 2018 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Gerardi Funeral Home, 9501 West Lincoln Hwy (1 block east of LaGrange Rd. on Rt. 30) Frankfort, IL. Funeral Monday from 9:00 am until the time of service at 10:00 am. Interment immediately following at Skyline Memorial Park, Monee, IL.
