Leila F. Clontz (nee) Butler

June 25, 1930 - December 12, 2015

Leila F. Clontz (nee Butler) age 85 late of Bourbonnais, IL, passed away December 12, 2015.

Survived by her loving children Ronald (Susie) Clontz of San Antonio, Texas; Debrah (Dan) Hawtree of  Frankfort, IL; Joy Danis of Aurora, Colorado; Timothy (Pam) Kroehler of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Rebecca (Richard) Feigel of Frankfort, IL; Charlotte (Jeff) Norman of Aurora, Colorado, and foster daughter Opal (Jerry) Roberts of Mercer, Wisconsin. Leila is also survived by her cherished niece, whom she raised, Mary (Brian) Reynolds of Benton, Arizona; sisters Ethel Lowry of Kansas City, Missouri; Alma Manthey of Datil, New Mexico; Faith Radtke of St. Louis, Missouri;  brother Stephen Butler of Nashville, Tennessee, 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Leila is preceded in death by her beloved companion George “Pete” Elsner, her parents Frank & Leila, and her 4 brothers; David, Baby, Gordon and Job Butler.

Leila was a retired teacher at Kankakee Area Career Center.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday December 16, 2015 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Gerardi Funeral Home, 9501 West Lincoln Hwy (1 block east of LaGrange Rd. on Rt. 30) Frankfort, IL.  Services Thursday, 10:00 am  at the funeral home.  Interment Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Frankfort, IL.
