Kip Alden Bucek, age 60 late of Lockport, IL, passed away April 17, 2016.

Preceded in death by his parents Roy A. Bucek and Mayme E. (Pauley) Bucek, as well as his brother Paul Elliot (Debra) Bucek. Survived by his daughter Kelly Anne Bucek, sisters; Paulette Elaine Bucek and Ruth Anne Stroleny, nephews; Jason (DeVonna) Bucek, Daniel Bucek, Derek (Christine) Petersen and Jesse Petersen.

Visitation and funeral service will be held on April 20, 2016 beginning at 10:00 am at Gerardi Funeral Home, 9501 West Lincoln Highway, Frankfort, IL.  Interment Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Frankfort, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to McGovern Institute for Brain Research at MIT and be directed to: The Neurodegenerative Disorders Research Fund.
