James Clarke

March 11, 1930 - January 7, 2017

James “Jim” Clarke age 86 late of Frankfort, IL passed away January 7, 2017, surrounded by his loving family.
Jim was a veteran of the US Army, and served in the Korean War.
He was a cattle broker in the Chicago Stockyards and a real estate broker for over 40 years. Jim was past president of; J. Clarke Real Estate, Frankfort Development Corporation, Lincoln Way MLS as well as a member of the Will County Planning Commission.
Was preceded in death by parents, James and Josephine, and his brother John B. Clarke.
Survived by his wife, Jo (Gaffney), daughter, Maryjo (Mike) Zenecki; sons, James (Cindy), Brian (Patti), Keith (Jackie), Glenn (Sherri), Gregory (Lynn), Patrick (Laura); sisters, Joan (late Joe) Friesenhahn, Dr. Bernadette Grant, Patricia (Jim) Gira; brother, Thomas (Marianne); grandchildren, Katie, Megan, Sean, Kevan, Emily, Madalyn, Michael, Patrick, Christopher, Margaret, Paige, Jilliann, Joshua, Jacob, Cassidy, Jimmy, Alex, Riley, Matt, Bob, Joe, Allison and Natalie.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 from 3:00 to 8:00 pm & Thursday, January 12 from 9:00 am until the time of prayers at 9:30 am at Gerardi Funeral Home, 9501 West Lincoln Hwy (1 block east of LaGrange Rd. on Rt. 30) Frankfort, IL. Leaving for Mass of the Christian burial at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Frankfort, IL. Interment Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
