Lala was a beautiful person with a good heart. The epitome of being Italian. By her dinners, her advice, her kindness, she will be missed.

I am sorry that I was not aware of your passing Lala until today. You were such a wonderful woman, ever caring, ever loving, especially to me. You helped me grow up, to understand, to accept and you provided unconditional love to me along with your husband Red. My thoughts and prayers to the many individuals you loved along the way in your life, you touched them and they will always remember you! l Love you Lala! Rest in peace!

I am SO SORRY that I didn\'t see this until now. Mr. (Red) and Mrs. (Lala) Mele were both such wonderful people. Just a short while ago I was retelling a story of how my dad (Mike Bruno) would grow greens in his garden just to bring over to Lala because he didn\'t eat them. May she rest in peace and rejoice meeting up with her husband, friends, and loved ones that went before her. Condolences and much love to her entire family from the Brunos.

Florence was one of the sweetest people I ever met. I regret I will be unable to concelebrate her funeral due to a prior commitment. I helped out at St. Paul's from 2003-2007 and Florence was a "regular". She made the best meatballs and red sauce I've ever had! She would always send me home with a few extra to freeze for a rainy day. God rest her. Many blessings to all of you! Father Tom Conde
