Edward S. Gabrysiak

September 14, 1925 - July 5, 2017

Edward S. Gabrysiak, age 91 late of Frankfort, IL passed away on July 5, 2017.

Edward was a veteran of the United States Navy who enjoyed golf, baseball (a Chicago White Sox fan), polka music, telling jokes and watching one of his favorite shows, Wheel of Fortune. Edward attended Notre Dame College where he played soccer. He worked as a supervisor for Western Electric Company. He loved his family dearly, and will be missed by many.

 

Preceded in death by his wife Patricia (nee Kosmecki); parents, Stanley and Marie; sisters, Genevive and Estella, and brother Casey. He is survived by his daughter, Mary Rosak; grandchildren, Kelly (Bob Jr.) Book, Alison and Nickolas Rosak, and great-grandchildren Daniel and Ruby.

 

Visitation will be held on Sunday July 9, 2017 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Gerardi Funeral Home, 9501 West Lincoln Hwy (1 block east of LaGrange Rd. on Rt. 30) Frankfort, IL.  Services Monday from 8:30 am until the time of prayers at 9:30 am at the funeral home, followed by Mass of the Christian Burial 10:00 am at St. Francis of the Woods, Frankfort, IL.  Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
