Bertha G. Rivera (nee) Garza

November 23, 1936 - February 22, 2016

Age 79, late of Crete, IL passed away February 22, 2016. Bertha was a homemaker all her life.

Survived by her daughters, RoseMary, Bertha, Maria, Martha, Carolina & Sylvia; sons, Joseph and Arturo; grandchildren, Jack, Ramon, Jose, Kateri, Lupito, Luka, Nicholas, Madelaine, Michael, William, Anna, Marco, Gabriella and Lucia; great-grandchildren, Ollie and Ruby Jean; sons-in-law; Nestor, Raymond, Tom, Neil, Chris and David, and daughter in law, Rebecca.

Preceded in death by her husband Ramon (2014), daughter, Jovita and son, Ramon.

Visitation will be held at Gerardi Funeral Home, 9501 W. Lincoln Hwy., Frankfort, IL. on Thursday February 25 from 3:00 pm- 9:00 pm.  Funeral will be held on Friday, February 26 starting at the funeral home from 8:30 am until the time of prayers at 9:15 am.  Procession to the church will begin at 9:30 am.  Funeral Mass at 10:00 am, St. Kieran Catholic Church, Chicago Heights.  Interment private.
