Bernard J. Pustz

May 18, 1924 - February 11, 2016

Bernard “Bernie” J. Pustz, age 91 late of Palos Heights, IL passed away peacefully on February 11, 2016.

Survived by his sons James (Anna) & Charles (Kathleen); sisters Josephine Pustz & Beverly (Lou) Gasper; brothers Donald (Linda) Pustz & Jerry Putts; grandchildren Sara, Kevin, Brian & Mia.

He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia (1992), sisters Audrey Port & Evelyn Gray.

Bernie was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War, a member of WWII, 10^th Mountain Division & VFW Post Commander, former president of Illinois 2^nd Voice Club, and a retired industrial engineer.

Visitation will be held on Monday February 15, 2016 from 3:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Tuesday, February 16th from 9:00 am until the time of services at 10:00 am. at Gerardi Funeral Home, 9501 West Lincoln Hwy (1 block east of LaGrange Rd. on Rt. 30) Frankfort, IL.   Interment immediately following the service, Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL.
