Al remains my closest friend after 64 years of exchanging barbs that ranged from the Sox vs the Giants to Gone With The Wind vs Casablanca. His spirit and love are special parts of my life and will continue to influence my decisions for the remainder of my lifetime. Yes, he is the funniest person I have ever known, but inside the laughter is what is important. His personal integrity, his caring about and for others, and his devotion to family are the substance of his character and the essence of my respect. Love you Al.

I’m so sorry for the loss of your father. He was such a great man. Misten I’m thinking of you and praying for you and your sisters. I will cherish my memories of your dad and his sense of humor, support and love he always showed me. I’m sorry I can’t be there to pay my respects. Sending hugs to all of you.

Today is a sad day because I just read Alas obit and want to thank his daughters for posting it. I'm not surprised at the great tribute to him - it is well deservef. All took me to my first prom at the urging of our fathers. While living in Frankfort had the enjoyment of knowing both All and Diane - we all attended Lincoln-way. May God bless the entire family
