Aldona Cross (nee Nakrosius)

May 8, 1924 - January 17, 2019

Aldona Cross (nee Nakrosius), of Matteson, IL and more recently Scottsdale, AZ, passed away Thursday, January 17th, 2019 at the age of 94. Aldona, the only child of Lithuanian immigrants, was preceded in death by her parents Petronella (nee Labeikis) and John (Jonas) Nakrosius, her husband Frederick Cross, husbands Michael Bordas (father of her daughter Diana (James) Jamrog of Livonia MI and son Allen (Rebecca) Bordas of Indianapolis, IN) and William Older (father of her daughter Karen (Al) Grosser of Scottsdale, AZ) and grandson Richard Jamrog. In addition to her children, Aldona is survived by 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

The family will greet friends at the Hirsch West End Chapel In Matteson, IL from 3-7 on Friday, January 25, 2019. Funeral Services will be at St Anthony’s Church in Frankfort, IL on Saturday, January 26, 2019 at 10:00 am. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip, IL.
